The "Scarabaeus" sculpture is the continuation of the theme with the glass balls. My beetle is a sacred Egyptian insect, symbolizing the birth and movement of the Sun in the Universe emitting the warmth and radiating light: and like the Sun Scarabaeus travels and rolls his ball with the eggs from the East to the West till the embryos ripe and come into the world. Hence my "Scarabaeus" is covered with the Egyptian reliefs and incrusted with the semiprecious stones, everyone of which bring health, clarity and peace of mind, prosperity, deep sleep and many other good things to its owner.
